Add the chicken pieces and mix again to coat evenly. Keep aside to marinate for 30 minutes. Step 2 Arrange the tikka pieces on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes at 180°C. Step 3 For masala – In the meantime, heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Add onions and mix well. Add salt and saute for 5 minutes. Add ginger-garlic paste, mix well and saute for a minute. Step 4 Add tikka masala, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala and red chilli powder. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes until the masala is cooked. Add the tomato puree and mix well. Step 5 Cook for 8-10 minutes until the oil starts to separate. Add water and bring to the boil. Add cream along with butter and mix well. Step 6 Once the chicken is cooked, remove from the oven and add the chicken tikka to the masala. Give it a nice stir, cover and cook for 7-8 minutes.
